Police arrest Portable after 72-hour ultimatum

Portable, the controversial singer, has been arrested by officers of the Ogun state police command.
According to Premium Times, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner was arrested on Friday following the expiration of the 72-hour ultimatum given to him to turn himself in.
Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state police spokesperson, was quoted to have said that the singer is currently at the state headquarters of the police in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
On Wednesday, Portable was given a three-day ultimatum to report himself to the police.

The Progressive Governors Forum has openly condemned the calls for the return of interim government, stressing that any self-serving Nigerian found culpable in the act of sabotage should be prosecuted.
