A few hours ago, Femi Fani Kayode took to his social media handles and said that if anyone from the BATIST camp (Tinubu supporters) had said those Datti Baba Ahmed’s words, they would have been insulted. This is coming hours after Datti Baba-Ahmed in a recent interview session with Channels Television stated that if Tinubu is sworn in it is as good as inviting the military to take power.
Speaking further, Fani Kayode mentioned that even when Datti was cautioned and warned by Seun Okunbaloye to desist from saying words that might be unacceptable and could breach the regulations of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, Datti still continued.
“If yours truly or anyone else from the BATIST camp had said those words and such things on national television all hell would have broken loose and we would have been invited by the security agencies by now. We would also have been attacked and subjected to all manners of insults”
