MC Oluomo Was Seen On Video Threatening Igbo People But Tinubu Said Nothing About It – Atiku

The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has described the statement calling for healing, peace and reconciliation by the President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following the conclusion of the general polls, as the height of hypocrisy (Vanguard).

Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Atiku, who spoke through his aide, Mr Phrank Shaibu, pointed out that MC Oluomo was seen on a video threatening Igbo People just before the election, but Tinubu said nothing about it.

The Former Vice President, who visibly held the view that Tinubu was only coming out now to call for peace because the poll; which was marred by violence; had favored him, questioned why the former Lagos state Governor did not call to order MC Oluomo, who is a member of his presidential campaign council, politicians and other traditional rulers who threatened violence against those opposed to his ambition.

Cited report.

In Atiku’s words; “Tinubu’s latest statement is laced with hypocrisy and lies. For a whole month traditional leaders, transport hooligans and politicians in his camp threatened non indigenes but Tinubu kept mute. His lackey, MC Oluomo, who is a member of his campaign council, was seen on video threatening Igbo people but Tinubu said nothing.”

Atiku, who visibly thought Tinubu should have spoken out against these persons’ threats prior to the election, went further to challenge the President-Elect to ensure erring persons are arrested and prosecuted.
