Achievers University Tells Students To Report Any Case Of Harassment, Bully To The Management

Dr. Bode Ayorinde, the Pro-Chancellor of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, has told new students of the institution not to hesitate and report any to of harassment or bully to the school management.

He urged them not to suffer in silence and be bold to come forward and report any case of harassment as the school has zero tolerance to all forms of indiscipline.

Our lecturers are parents, so there is no form of sexual harassment or sex for marks from any lecturer in the university.

The Pro-Chancellor stated this during the 16th matriculation ceremony of the school.

891 students were matriculated on Friday which was held on the school campus.

Achievers University has graduated over 6,000 in the past 15 years and they are doing well in their various endeavours.

He urged them that they are here for transformation, they school embrace it with dignity, it is worthwhile venture.

Ayorinde said there is no room for laziness and no certificate is sold here. We impact knowledge.

He called on parents to monitor their wards and charged the students to study well, obey school rules and regulations.

Professor Omolola Irinoye, the Acting Vice Chancellor, congratulated the students. She noted that they were lucky to be admitted and will have the best education so that they will be able to compete with their peers in any part of the world.

Irinoye admonished the students to avoid lateness to class as well as respect their lecturers.
