Current Scottish Premiership Table And Reviews After Yesterday’s Matches

Hearts 0-0 Livingston: In a Scottish Premiership goalless draw at the Tony Macaroni Arena, Hearts extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games across all competitions, but Livingston once again proved to be a difficult opponent.

Dundee United 0-2 Celtic: Celtic extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to nine points after a 2-0 win over Dundee United, thanks to second-half goals from Jota and Aaron Mooy.

It was a historic win for Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, who won his 50th Scottish Premiership game in just 61 games—only Martin O’Neill (59 games) has done so faster for Celtic.

The Hoops recorded their biggest-ever away league win at Tannadice in late August, winning 9-0, but were frustrated until the 51st minute, when Jota headed in from a tight angle to open the scoring.

Five minutes later, Mooy doubled the advantage from the penalty spot after United defender Kieran Freeman handled the ball in the penalty box.

Since the middle of September, Celtic have gone undefeated in the league. They also have a 23-goal advantage over Rangers, who are currently in second place.
