Domestic Violence: “Let’s do better by either keeping quiet or…” Toke Makinwa admonishes her gender

Media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa has lashed out at her gender over their reaction to women who suffer domestic violence.

Taking to her Twitter page, Toke voiced out over how her gender are good at attacking women for speaking out over domestic violence.

Toke Makinwa, who is clearly disappointed, stated that she hates it when women sometimes shame other women the most.

Admonishing them, she urged them to do better by either keeping quiet if they don’t have anything good to say or he supportive.

Toke warned them to stop with the “she is doing too much” and let them do.

“I hate that it’s women who sometimes try to shame other women the most. If someone comes out to share her experience let’s do better by either keeping quiet if we don’t have anything good to say or be supportive. Stop with the “she’s doing too much”, let her do pls”.

The movie star made this known via her Instagram page where she further revealed that she just lost a close friend to a violent, drunk partner.

Also, Iyabo Ojo had dropped her opinion about the issue of domestic violence.

The single mother of two took to her Instagram page to share a piece of advice she had for people in relationships and marriages.

Iyabo noted that it’s nerve too late to leave an abusive partner when one begins to see the signs. Anyone who gives children and how much they suffered with a partner into consideration over their life is just in denial.
