Croatia have sent Canada out of the World Cup in Qatar after a comprehensive 4-1 demolition of the North Americans on Sunday.
Canada needed to win the match or draw to still stand a chance of scaling through to the next round after they lost their first match, but they capitulated and crashed out.
The North American sides opened scoring in just two minutes into the game to jolt Croatia up.
Croatia leveled on 36th minute. Ivan Perisic laid the ball off to Andrej Kramaric, who shot from close range into the bottom right corner, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.
Kramaric got his brace and made it 3-1 for Croatia on 70th minute after meeting a perfect cross from Ivan Perisic deep inside the box and controlled it with a nice first touch. He produced an accurate strike into the bottom left corner.
Croatia completed the debacle on added time. A catastrophic error from the opponent gifted a chance to Lovro Majer, who rolled the ball into the back of the net from close range to make it 4-1.
