With the summer transfer window just a few days away from being shut, Barcelona are currently open to a deal to sell the Gabonese striker, Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang.
The 33-year-old former Arsenal star joined the Spanish La Liga giants in January and he was very outstanding during his spell with the Catalans, scoring 11 goals in 17 appearances for them last season.
After his incredible appearances for Barcelona last season, the Gabonese chances of a first-team shirt hit the rock with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, who appears to be the man that will Barcelona attack this campaign. The 33-year-old is wanted by two English Premier League clubs, Chelsea and Manchester United but below are the three reasons why he might prefer a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Former Arsenal forward has worked with Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel before at Borussia Dortmund and he might want to work with him again in the English Premier League.
Secondly, Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang spent four years living in London while he was with Arsenal and he might want to return to the beautiful city.
And lastly, the Gabonese forward might prefer a move to Chelsea because of the UEFA Champions League football.
However, if the Blues are to sign Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang, they will have to meet up with Barcelona’s wanting price which is understood to be around £21million.
