Nigerian star nets a debut goal in his team 3-2 hard-fought victory in the Coppa Italia

Nigerian star David Okereke made a winning competitive debut for Cremonese football club on Monday night, as he scored a classic goal in their hard-fought 3-2 victory over Ternana FC in the Coppa Italia.

The 24 years old was signed by Cremonese football club of Italy from Belgium Pro League giants Club Brugge FC last week, and he has eventually made his competitive debut for the club.

The Nigerian striker was given a starting role by his coach in the attack, and he was able to guide them to a well deserved victory over their opponent.

Cremonese football club took the lead through Luka Bodgan’s own goal in the 15th minute and David Okereke doubled the lead with a beautiful header in the 22nd minute to end the first half 2-0.

Pietro Rovaglia made it 2-1 in the 54th minute and Antonio Palumbo equalized in the 57th minute before substitute Giacomo Quangliata scored the winning goal for Cremonese football club in the 60th minute to end the match 3-2.

David Okereke was superb for Cremonese football club in the entertaining encounter, and he was able to score a beautiful debut goal before he was replaced in the second half.

The victory over Ternana FC has now taken Cremonese football club to the next round of the Coppa Italia.
