Atiku Lacks Capacity to Lead Nigeria — Tinubu’s Ally

Chief Oladipo Oladosu, an ally of the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar cannot become President in 2023.

He said Atiku did nothing in eight years as vice president except the roles assigned to him by the then President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Speaking in Ibadan on the chances of APC candidate in the 2023 Presidential elections, Oladosu, the National President of Yoruba Patriots Movement (YPM), said Tinubu would win with 70 percent with others sharing the remaining 30 percent.

I’ll continue to speak for Nigeria – Sanusi

The deposed Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, says he will continue to speak and air his views to defend and rebuild Nigeria.

Sanusi, who is also the current Khalifah, Tijaniyat Movement of Nigeria, said this in Abuja on Saturday at a stage play titled “Emir Sanusi: Truth in Time.’’

The play was written by a professor of Drama at the Redeemer University, Ahmed Yerima, and produced by the Executive Chairman, Duke of Somolu Productions, Mr. Joseph Edgar.

Tinubu Sees Presidency As Life Entitlement Say Melaye

A former Kogi Senator, Dino Melaye has said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu sees the office of the President as a life entitlement.

Plateau LP gov candidate under criminal investigation – Police

The Plateau state Police Command on Saturday confirmed that its operatives arrested the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the state, Yohanna Margie.

It was learned that Margie was whisked away in the late hours of Thursday by security operatives amid controversy that he had resigned from the governorship of the Labour Party, an allegation he later debunked.

Confirming his arrest in a statement on Saturday, the Spokesman for the state police command, Alabo Alfred, said “Contrary to the report being circulated by some online news media alleging that the arrest of Amb. Yohanna Margie by operatives of the Plateau State Command is politically motivated, the command wishes to inform members of the public that such a report is malicious, misleading, and unfounded.
