The Terrorists Shared Transport Fares, Preached To The Inmates Before Setting Them Free – Source

The terrorists who attacked the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, shared transport fares with the inmates in the prison before setting them free, according to The Punch. 

No fewer than eight people, inmates, terrorists, and security agents, died during the deadly attack. Hundreds of inmates were also set free during the attack.

According to a source who spoke with The Punch, the terrorists who attacked the Kuje prison came prepared. The source added that the insurgents came for their members who were transferred to the centre from Shiroro, Niger State. 

It was gathered that the terrorists operated for about two hours. Then they went to the cell where their members were locked up and freed them. 

The terrorists preached for the inmates, shared transport fares to them before setting them free. 

ISWAP, a terrorist organisation affiliated with ISIS, has claimed the attack on the prison in a video released on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
