Respected Nigerian rapper, Jude Lemfani Abaga, known within the showbiz circles as M.I Abaga has disclosed he will be retiring the M.I moniker in August.
Thr highly rated rapper made this announcement on Thursday, July 7, 2022 in a post via his official and verified Twitter page that hwould be retiring the name ‘M.I Abaga’ ahead of his new project.
According to him, his last act as M.I Abaga will be on Sunday, 10th July 2022 where he will perform at ‘The Vibe’ in celebration of his legacy as Africa’s greatest rapper.
MI Abaga is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s most accomplished and significant musician with his notable contributions to hip hop genre. This announcement comes after his joint album with AQ, Blaqbonez, and Loose Kaynon.

The joint studio album; ‘Behold The L.A.M.B’ houses 10 solid tracks with features from Oxlade, PsychoYP, Chike, Bien, Khaligraph Jones and Kojo Cue. The project was released on Wednesday July, 6 2022 and has amassed impressive numbers on streaming platforms.
