The Senegalese team is considered one of the toughest teams to beat in Africa both in the male and female categories and they started the match with a strong lineup which comprises of Tenning Sene, Mareme Babou, Anta Dembele, Mbayang Sow, Nguenar Ndiaye, Ndeye Awa Diakhate, Haby Balde, Safietou Sagna, Jeannette Sagna, Hapsotou Diallo, and Meta Camara.

The match started as expected and just like I stated above, Senegal is one of the teams to beat in the competition as they took the lead in the 39th minute through Diakhate and they held In that lone goal lead till the end of the first half, 1 – 0.
After the break, the Senegalese team started from where they stopped in the first half via mounting more pressure on the Uganda team as they scored again in the 50th minute through Nguenar to make the score 2 – 0 which is the final score.
Meanwhile, the host nation Morocco beat the Burkina Babes 1 – 0 in the tournament’s opener.
