Super Eagles of Nigeria put a superb performance in the first half of their encounter against the Pharaohs of Egypt in the ongoing TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations tournament that is taking place in Cameroon.
30th minute goal from Leicester City man, Kelechi Iheanacho was enough for the three times African champions to overcome the Egyptians before the break.
Iheanacho capitalized on the defective mistake of the north African side to slot in the first goal for Nigeria.

1. Simon Moses
Moses has been able to display an outstanding performances beyond the expectations of many people. He has been supplying perfect crosses to Taiwo Awoniyi and Kelechi Iheanacho in several occasions. He was the player that built the ball that led to the first goal.
2. Kelechi Iheanacho
Despite playing behind the main striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has been pushing for several opportunities for the team. He netted the only goal that gave Nigeria the first half lead.
3. William Troost-Ekong
Troost-Ekong has shown a great level of improvement so far. He has been able to handle the central defense area perfectly. He was also able to keep Mohamed Salah in check throughout the entire 45 minutes.
