The August General Elections have come and gone with the winners of the polls being given their certificates by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Returning Officers across the country.

The swearing in ceremonies are all but finished except for the Members of County Assemblies which will be happening across the 47 counties in the next few days.
However, in Murang’a County, five Member of County Assembly candidates who failed in the recently concluded polls have received aid from the leaders in the area who won in the polls.
The MCA candidates who did not succeed have received the help from the local leaders who won in the polls after giving them different farm animals to help them out.

The Member of County Assembly candidates received chicken, cows as well as other animal feed to help them kickstart their lives again after the loss in the polls.
The Member of County Assembly candidates are said to have gone broke after the polls that happened a few weeks ago across the Country.
