“Let’s Go To History That I Rejected This Bill” Fresh Ruto’s Headache As Mps Bravely Say This

Following a brief recess, Kenya’s Parliament resumes its sessions today. After the longest public engagement in Kenyan history, the Finance Bill 2023 will advance to the second reading stage on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Various organizations, groups, and people provided feedback on the measure. Bill passes this stage, it will be sent to the President for consideration as a bill.

The opposition Azimio One Kenya Alliance, on the other hand, is completely opposed to it. They have asked their members to vote against the law, but the government is determined to pass it.

As Kenyans wait to find out what will happen, certain political figures have made statements, some claiming that they will vote as they see fit.

Our source informs us One Mp has stated that he will not be intimidated and will vote against the Financial Bill 2023, calling it oppressive and should be repealed.

On the other hand, Kenyan Kwanza Senator Cherargei has stated that any leader who votes against the Bill will face the full force of the party, adding that no one can be an opposition within the government.

Follows President William Ruto’s directives on how the MPs should vote raises concerns about the extent of Executive influence over the legislature.

Kenyans are now expecting for them to save them from squalor by legislating against some government wishes that may weaken them in the future, since the Executive side of government has given orders to MPs.
