Duale claims that he has been sent by President William Ruto, who is not happy with how Uhuru has been conducting himself since he left office.
He alleges that Ruto has directed him to talk Uhuru out of his decision to stick to active politics, which, he says, Ruto finds embarrassing to the country.
The minister says that they hold that Uhuru should now retire, especially after all his attempts to block a Ruto presidency in August last year flopped.
“President Ruto allowed me as the Defence Cabinet Secretary to look for my friend and sit him down because he has embarrassed the country,” he says in The Star.
The Ex-National Assembly Majority Leader adds that there are among the things making it hard for Kenyans to respect Uhuru as a man who led them for a whole ten years, however much they want to.
“Even after winning, we (Kenya Kwanza) want to accord him respect but he is now hanging out with a young man in Jevanjee called Gaucho,” he says.
Gaucho is among the most famous supporters of Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga, and was even present during his suspended anti-Ruto demos.
He accompanied Uhuru recently, when the Jubilee Party Leader stormed the party offices in Nairobi to chase way a rival team, led by EALA MP Kanini Kega, that was trying to take over the party.
