A 36-year-old woman, identified as Adhiambo, is currently behind bars after assaulting her boyfriend and throwing him off the balcony. The boyfriend, identified as Braiton, died while on an ICU bed in Kenyatta National Hospital.
According to reports, the two were not officially married. They were cohabiting. Adhiambo is said to have gotten into another relationship, changed his house padlock, and kicked Braiton out.
She told him that he was not to be seen near her house anymore. The mother of four then took in her new lover. Braiton is said to have intruded on the house and found the two together.

Adhiambo beat Braiton mercilessly and threw her down a storey building. It is alleged that she was helped by her new boyfriend. Braiton sustained very serious injuries, to which he succumbed in an ICU bed.
The DPP has said that the woman’s case will be amended because this now becomes a murder case, unlike before Braiton’s death, when it was being considered a murder attempt.Â
