Aftermath Of Raila’s Demonstrations, Photos Of Violence, Individual Injured, Attempted Assassination

The Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalation has today held their demonstrations in Nairobi. The former Prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga led the troops at around noon where they tried to gain access into the central business district. The visited Donholm where police officers did not interfere with them as they addressed their supporters.

The first tragedy that took place is the burning down of UDA offices in Siaya county. The activities were carried out by peaceful demonstrators who vandalized the building before setting it on fire.

The second incidence took place in Kisumu county where demonstrators entered Jamia supermarket and began looting. Police officers arrived in time where they lobbied teargas to the looters and managed to save some items from the shop.

The third incidence took place in Migori county where demonstrators managed to take away a police vehicle. They rode the vehicle within town and later abadoned it in the evening when it ran out of fuel.

The fourth incidence took place in Narok county where a section of youths tried to attack Uhuru’s farm. They had began breaking down the fence claiming that the land belongs to them before police officers lobbied teargas to disperse them.

The fifth incidence took place on the exit of outering road when the vehicle of Raila Amollo Odinga was shot seven times. Raila managed to escape unhurt and the vehicle was immediately whisked away from the scene of crime.

The sixth incidence is a police officer who attacked journalists by breaking the windscreen and lobbying teargas into the vehicle. The Journalist sustained major injuries where he was immediately taken to the hospital but he is in a stable condition now.
