How Kenyans reacted to postponement of Azimio’s protest in Kisumu county

The Azimio coalition principals and supporters planned to have their mass demonstration across the country twice a week that’s on Monday and Thursday. Early this week the Azimio coalition held their second mass demonstration across the country. The purpose of this demonstration is to push president, Dr William Ruto, and his administration to lower the high cost of living which common citizens are currently facing.

However, these demonstrations has been accused by the government allies headed by the president, Dr William Ruto, which accused the Azimio coalition for using high cost of living as the reason of their demonstration but it’s all about the election.

Today, the Azimio coalition ally, the Kisumu county governor, Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o has postponed such demos in Kisumu county claiming that they will join other protesters in Nairobi county.

This decision of the Kisumu county governor, has received different receptions from the public while others claiming that decision is just to destroy other counties and taking burden to others. While others praised the governor for such decision.
