Percentage Of Kenyans Who Believe Raila Will Remove Ruto From Power Through Protests.

The former prime minister Raila Odinga is keen on getting back what he calls his stolen victory in last year’s Presidential election whereby William Ruto was declared winner by the independent electoral and boundaries commission.

The IEBC’s decision was also affirmed by the supreme court of the republic of Kenya under chief justice Martha Koome.

Ever since, the azimio la umoja one Kenya alliance party leader has refused to recognize Ruto as the president of the republic of Kenya terming his regime as illegitimate.

Raila has since embarked on anti-government demonstrations which will be held twice a week from Monday next week in a bid to force Ruto out of office and establish what he Calls a legitimate government.

Now how many kenyans believe that it will be easy for Raila Odinga to remove president William Ruto from power?

A survey by tifa research has revealed that only 16 percent of the those interviewed believe that Ruto can be removed from power by Raila Odinga through protests.

On the other hand, 72 percent of the respondents said it will be hard for Raila to remove Ruto from power while 12 percent said they are not sure or don’t know.

The survey which was conducted between march 11-19 also revealed that only 31 percent of the respondents support protests while 64 percent don’t support the planned demonstrations.
