Check The New Salary Of The Newly Appointed CAS After A Review Was Done

City lawyer Wahome Thuku has come out to react after the salary adjustments of the newly appointed Chiefs Administrative Secretaries was announced. Taking to his twitter page Thuku wondered where the money to pay the CASs was coming from when the government is complaining that they don’t have enough money to pay for junior secondary pupils.

According to a report shared by Thuku the new CASs will be taking home a salary of Sh780,000 after a review was made. A few days ago David Ndii, the economic advisor to the president said that the new CASs will only be spending Sh450 million for salaries which he said was very small for Kenyans to complain about.

This increase in their salary has raised mixed reactions from Kenyans who have come out to express their opinions. Many Kenyans have argued that Ruto and his affiliates want to enrich themselves with taxpayers money by creating more and more offices that don’t serve any purpose.
