A moment of laughter has been witnessed in Uasin Gishu county after Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua lost his temper as he lectured clergymen for pressuring Ruto to hold talks with Raila Odinga.
Speaking in Uasin Gishu shortly after flagging off relief food, Gachagua attacked section of clergymen who have requested the government to hold talks with opposition leader claiming that Kenya has been peaceful since the August 2022 general elections and it is Raila that has started disrupting unity through his mass action demonistrations. He has now called them to pray for him to change instead of holding a dialogue.
“Na Mimi naomba viongozi was kanisa nchini, tumetoka uchaguzi tukiwa na amani mwenye kuleta fujo ni huyu Mzee sasa mnatuambia tumuongeleshe kuwe na amani. So viongozi was dini tunawaomba kwa heshima tafuteni muharifu muongee na yeye na mumuombee muachanane na sisi tufanye Kazi ya kuendesha Kenya,” Dp Gachagua said.

Gachagua accused Raila Odinga of causing chaos in every general election claiming that it is time he should stop that behavior, he also affirmed that President Ruto and him will not bow to his pressures of mass action demonistrations.
