What Jackline Kendi Killed In Kwale Together With British Lover Planned To Do Before Her Death

A family is still trying to come to terms with the death of their daughter together with her Briton boyfriend after a fatal road accident in Msambweni, Kwale county.

Kwale Police Commander, Mr Josphat Kinyua who confirmed the accident said that the crash was caused by speeding.

The two, Adam James Stagg, 36, and 21-year-old Jackline Kendy were reported to be riding a Suzuki sport motorcycle when the accident occurred.

Jackline Kendi, 21, who died in Kwale County 10 days ago alongside her British lover, was planning to travel to Meru to introduce him to the family.

The two are said to have died on the spot and their bodies have been moved to Msambweni Sub-County hospital morgue awaiting postmortem thereafter.

Speaking to the media at his home in Manthi village, Tigania East, Kendi’s father, Mr Michael Baariu, said a day before the accident, his daughter called him with news that she would be coming home.

Ms Kendy’s videos, as posted on her social media platforms, revealed an outgoing person who loved to live her life to the fullest with a caption on her Tiktok page ‘Live your life for you and not for the world.

The tragedy marked the end of a troubled short life for Kendi, whose mother, Risper Kananu died in 2012. Mr Baariu had separated with her while Kendi was a toddler and she moved to Isiolo town with the baby.
