SC Ahmednasir Reacts To Reports That The 50 CASs Will Be Sworn In Tomorrow

Senior Counsel Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has allegedly reacted to the reports that the fifty Chief Administrative Secretaries (CASs) Nominated by President William Ruto will be sworn in tomorrow. Taking to his Twitter handle the flamboyant city lawyer has claimed that he respects the prerogative power of the president but grudgingly. The vocal lawyer had few days ago tried to advise President William Ruto to reduce the number of his CAS nominees to 24. However, it seems President William Ruto had already made up his mind as it has been announced that the CAS will be taking oaths of office tomorrow.

The Grand Mulla had also advised President William Ruto to remove from his list leaders who contested for seats unsuccessfully in the last general elections. The Senior Counsel Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi termed them as political and wanted them removed from that list. A section of kenyans were not happy with the high number of CASs and they also hoped William Ruto might consider their pleas. The number of CASs were increased from the previous 23 to 50.
