According to reports, the ambulance was coming from Meru level five hospital and it was heading to Kenyatta National hospital when it lost control and vereed off the road before landing in ditch.
The accident occured exactly at Consolata girls high school. Good samaritans rushed to the scene to rescue the victims. Eyewitness revealed that the vehicle was ferrying a Patient and Medics.
They were all rescued and removed from the wreckage of the vehicle. Police officers were informed and visited the scene to investigate the cause of the accident. It is alleged that the ambulance was overspeeding.
The accident comes barely a week after another accident that almost occurred at the same spot that claimed the lives of two people. Drivers have been asked to drive carefully to avoid accidents.
