Caleb Kositany is a well-known politician in Kenya and one of President William Samoei Ruto’s closest allies in the Rift Valley. He formerly served as the lawmaker for the county of Uasin Gishu’s Soy constituency.
He just revealed a 1997 photo of President William Ruto and Raila Odinga together. Pictures of the two candidates for president that year showed them in their respective campaigns. Kositany tweeted the message that if somebody ever feels like giving up, they should think about how Raila hasn’t given up on the presidency. The images he posted suggest that at the time, President Ruto was running for the seat of an MP for the Eldoret North Constituency, while Raila Odinga was running for president.
