Just recently, Deputy President William Ruto was the man dominating headlines in the country after he managed to broker a deal successful between Cleophas Malala and Boni Khalwale. The two men from Kakamega County were threatening the unity of Kenya Kwanza because they both eyed the Kakamega gubernatorial seat but Ruto ensured that the matter was settled amicably.
Some hours later and DP William Ruto’s camp has been left with another tough assignment after Moses Wetangula’s late night announcement. Through his official twitter account, the Bungoma senator confirmed that his Ford Kenya party will be fielding a candidate for the women representative position in Tana River.
Considering the fact that even Ruto’s UDA may be thinking about fielding a candidate for the same position, it is going to be a tough assignment on DP William Ruto because either way, they have to come up with a solution before they face defeat in the forthcoming general election.
