The Azimio la Umoja Alliance today are celebrating all over after the former Kirinyaga gubernatorial aspirant and one of the key principal in One Kenya Alliance (OKA) joined Azimio and endorsed the former prime minister Raila Odinga presidency.
The joining of Martha Karua to Azimio La Umoja made many to believe now the running mate for Raila Odinga will be her running mate. The running mate slots as it looks like all the presidential candidates the deputy president William Ruto and the former prime minister Raila Odinga are set to settle for from Mount Kenya region in a bid to get the mount Kenya votes.
However, in Azimio the things seems to go the opposite. According to the ODM blogger Hon. Robert Alai the running mate position is set a side for Kalonzo Musyoka. Alai on his tweet said ” Karibu Martha Karua but Kalonzo is the running mate now. I have already instructed baba on that decided”
This means that the former prime minister has taken in the Alai’s instructions to take Kalonzo as the his running mate.
