Bad News For Raila Odinga And Uhuru As Five Mt Kenya Leaders Makes U-turn

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto are likely to compete for the presidency of Kenya in August 2022.

Raila Odinga, the head of the Orange Democratic Movement, and his handshake partner, President Uhuru Kenyatta, have suffered a huge setback as five more leaders amended their attitudes in the aftermath of the 2022 general elections.

According to the source, at least five influential governors from the Mount Kenya region have declared their political stance in the aftermath of the Jubilee disaster.

Hon Ndiriithu Mureithi of Laikipia, Lee Kinyanjui of Nakuru County, James Nyoro of Kiambu, Francis Kimemia of Nyandarua, and Mutahi Kahiga of Nyeri County have all resigned from the Jubilee government.

Because the Jubilee party will be exploited, this decision will have repercussions for Uhuru’s faith in Mt Kenya as well as the entire country. Deputy President William Ruto, on the other hand, is attracting more politicians to his United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Despite being President Uhuru Kenyatta’s bedroom boy, Raila Odinga is losing ground in the Mt Kenya region.
