The first of three such events was held on Sunday to mark the end of the season at the Grade II listed pool, which celebrated its 90th birthday this year.
A spokesperson said: "The dog swims have become such a popular event in the lido calendar and it's a really fun way to finish the season.
"The water is still heated, with the temperature currently at 25C, so it's a swim that everyone will enjoy."
This year's season began on 28 March, two months earlier than last year. There will be further dog swims on Friday and Sunday to round it off.
