In the Western Cape, morning fog patches and mist are expected along the south-west coast, spreading along the south coast from the afternoon into the evening. Elsewhere, conditions will be fine to partly cloudy and warm to hot, although it will be cooler along the extreme south-western parts.

The Eastern Cape will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers developing over the interior and spreading to some coastal areas in the east.

KwaZulu-Natal can expect fog over the interior in the morning, with isolated showers and rain in the extreme north-east. Afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected mainly in the west.

The weather service has issued no impact-based warnings, fire-danger warnings or advisories for Monday.
