Obi Won 2023 Election, And You Give It To Tinubu And You’re Coming Out To Tell Us That You Won–Paul

According to a report by Daily Post on Sunday, October 4, 2026, Dr. Moses Paul, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, has told the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, that the All Progressives Congress will not be allowed to secure victory in the FCT during the 2027 general election.

Paul, popularly known as Dr Mo in political circles, made the statement while addressing supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.

The Obidient Movement leader spoke after a meeting with some supporters of Obi over the weekend, where he discussed the political situation in the nation’s capital ahead of the forthcoming election.

He maintained that Wike does not have sufficient political influence in the FCT to deliver the territory to the APC in the next presidential contest.

Paul’s remarks followed an earlier statement by Wike concerning the outcome of the 2027 presidential election.

The FCT minister had spoken when he met with members of the Apo Mechanics and Traders Association over their proposed relocation to the informal sector in Wasa, which is expected to take place before the end of the year.

During the meeting, Wike had pledged to leave his position in government if President Bola Tinubu failed to win the FCT in the 2027 presidential election.

The minister’s statement has since become a subject of political discussion as parties and political groups intensify preparations for the election.

Reacting to Wike’s position, Paul questioned the minister’s ability to secure the FCT for the APC, insisting that the political realities in the territory would make such an outcome difficult.

He also referred to the disputed outcome of the 2023 presidential election and the votes recorded by Peter Obi in the FCT.

According to the Obidient Movement coordinator, supporters of Obi would work to prevent what he described as a repeat of the alleged manipulation of the previous election.

He maintained that the 2027 contest would provide an opportunity for his supporters to challenge the APC and seek victory for their preferred candidate in the capital territory.

“Those who rigged the election have all come our to say that. Isn’t it stupid for an election that Peter Obi won, you carried it and give to Tinubu and you are coming out to tell us that you won. You didn’t win, you rigged. This time, we will stop you,” he said.
