A Chanel piece, a Paris red carpet, and a family affair: Hyderabad girl Bhavitha Mandava’s BoF 500 debut had a beautiful story to tell

While usual Parisian red carpet attendees focus on fashion designers and apparel, Indian supermodel Bhavitha Mandava’s appearance on the BoF 500 red carpet was all about herself. The diva who went viral a few months ago, recently debuted on the BoF 500 red carpet, wearing a classic Chanel piece. What stole the show, however, was her appearance with her parents by her side, making her BoF 500 debut an instant hit.

Mandava, for this special occasion, wore a dress from Chanel’s latest collection, teaming it with black heels. The co-ord set was elegantly designed, with its unusual texture and embellishments forming a stylish cut. It featured an intriguing V-neckline that seamlessly fitted the upper body before giving way to a stunning black satin peplum set over the waist that eventually turned into a royal floor train.

For the bottom, she chose a midi skirt with a straight cut, which provided yet another dose of detail. The black fabric was covered with subtle floral designs and featured various shades of pink and white embroidery, which softened the whole look. The bodice and shoulders were decorated with sparingly placed silver-coloured starburst ornaments; therefore, Bhavitha chose not to wear a necklace, allowing her neckline to rest freely.

This decision created a clean line along the V-shaped neckline, keeping the focus on the beautiful ornaments on her shoulders. Instead, she wore a gold ear cuff shaped like a starburst in her right ear that echoed the starry theme present in the dress. In terms of beauty styling, Mandava followed the same idea, styling her dark hair in gentle wave curls, parted down the centre, and tucking one side behind her ear. The makeup consisted of light eyeshadow, slight contouring, and brown-beige lips.

The polished feel of Chanel’s fashion look brought Parisian luxury to this milestone occasion, standing out for an Indian model who already made a global impression in the fashion industry.
