The investigation resurfaced on September 30 when detectives spotted Anderson and Wilson leaving Kohl’s. Patrol officers subsequently stopped their vehicle and took both into custody.

Police say Anderson admitted her involvement in both Bath & Body Works incidents. She also admitted to stealing clothing from Kohl’s by stuffing it inside a diaper bag, according to the department.

Shreveport Police did not specify what merchandise Wilson is accused of taking or describe his alleged role in each of the incidents. The department nevertheless announced charges against both following the investigation.

Anderson faces two counts of second-degree robbery, two counts of misdemeanor theft and one count of resisting an officer, according to Shreveport Police. Wilson faces one count of second-degree robbery and one count of misdemeanor theft.

The department did not provide additional details explaining the circumstances supporting the second-degree robbery charges in its announcement. Shreveport Police ended its post by warning that its stores are open for business, but customers should “pay for your merchandise, or prepare to answer for taking it.”

Guessing Headlights also searched the City of Shreveport’s Inmate Records Search for additional information concerning Anderson and Wilson’s listed charges but could not locate matching information among the records available at the time of the search. That unsuccessful search does not establish either person’s current custody status or change the charges announced by Shreveport Police.

As always, these are arrests, not convictions, and all suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
