Talal Chaudhry says JAAC and PTI sought to create unrest in Pakistan
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has accused the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of acting as proxies for the country’s enemies.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Chaudhry said the JAAC had also called for a protest on the same day as PTI’s long march, but the people of Azad Kashmir rejected the call.
He said neighbouring countries had not forgotten their defeat after suffering a setback in a direct attack two years ago and had since begun using proxies to create unrest in Pakistan.
Chaudhry added that if groups seeking to spread disorder entered a political party, questions about their presence and activities were bound to arise.
