PM, Mohsin Naqvi review strategy following talks deadlock with opposition

During the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister discussed key administrative matters as well as the ongoing deadlock in talks between the government and the opposition.
Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister on important governance affairs, while PM Shehbaz stressed that the writ of the state must be established at all costs.
The Prime Minister praised Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq for playing the role of host and facilitator during negotiations with opposition parties.
Meanwhile, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, telephoned PM Shehbaz to inform him of the factors leading to the breakdown in discussions.
Sources revealed that the Interior Minister also contacted President Asif Ali Zardari to consult on future strategy following the deadlock.
Both the President and the Prime Minister commended the negotiating committeeβs efforts to resolve the political dispute through democratic channels.
They also consulted over various matters in case of the PTI long march.
