KDPS: 42-year-old hospitalized after shooting

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is hospitalized after a shooting Saturday night, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says.

Officers were called around 7:47 p.m. to the area of Ranney Street and South Park Street for reports of shots fired.

After arriving on scene, they located a 42-year-old man who had been shot.

Police assisted the man with medical care at the scene, and he was later transported to the hospital.

His injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

No suspect has been identified at this time, as the investigation is ongoing.
