THE first British soldier killed in Ukraine was mortally wounded by an explosion, a coroner has confirmed.Special Forces Lance Corporal George Hooley, 28, was observing a Ukrainian weapons test when he suffered “multiple injuries” last year.His comrades provided emergency care after the early morning blast on 6 December 2025.
