Temporary Closure Of Highway 11 Planned For Friday Morning
(BIVN) – Highway 11 in Kaʻū will be closed for an hour and half on Friday morning, as police conduct a follow-up investigation related to a recent fatal traffic crash.
The temporary road closure is scheduled for Friday, October 2, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. near the 76-mile marker in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates. This location is near the intersection of King Kamehameha Boulevard and Kohala Boulevard.
“Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible,” a police news release stated. “Police officers will be on scene to assist with traffic control and public safety during the investigation.”
