From Miss Ghana to the Bar — Inna Mariam Patty Achieves Legal Milestone with Distinction in the UK

Inna Mariam Patty, an accomplished Ghanaian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and social advocate, is set to be officially called to the Bar of England and Wales at a ceremony hosted by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. Patty will graduate with Distinction from the University of Law, where she pursued the Bar Practice Course and earned the prestigious Dean’s Award for Excellence Scholarship.

Her call to the Bar represents not only a personal achievement but also a powerful symbol of cross-continental leadership—blending academic excellence with a long-standing commitment to social impact, women’s empowerment, and community development.

“I see this as a continuation of my purpose—to use law as a tool for empowerment, justice, and social impact, especially for women and vulnerable communities,” Patty said.

Before beginning her legal journey, Patty established herself as a transformative figure in Ghana’s business and philanthropic sectors. As CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana Ltd, she redefined Ghana’s event industry, using pageantry as a platform for national development and community upliftment.

Provided over 40 educational scholarships

Constructed water projects in northern Ghana

Partnered with UNAIDS on national awareness campaigns

Supported FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital in delivering life-saving scoliosis surgeries for children

Patty currently serves as a Board Member of FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital and Chairwoman of the Miss Ghana Foundation, continuing her advocacy in education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.

She is the founder and CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana Limited, Chairwoman of the Miss Ghana Foundation, and a Board Member of FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital.
