Stay calm, leadership addressing job and internal concerns

Deputy General Secretary (Operations) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),  Mustapha Gbande, has appealed for calm among party members and supporters as leadership works to resolve concerns over jobs and internal relations.

His remarks follow complaints from some NDC supporters and members of the public who remain unemployed since the Mahama administration took office.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 14, Mr. Gbande acknowledged growing sentiments within the party, noting that leadership appreciates all concerns “in whatever form they come” from both members and non-members.

He emphasised that the NDC leadership remains committed to serving the interests of the grassroots while addressing challenges confronting the party and government.

“We only ask that you grant us the space and time to find lasting solutions, even if gradually. Our government continues to make steady progress, regardless of the challenges,” Gbande stated.

He urged members to remain measured in their public expressions and communication, assuring them that their voices have been heard.

“Let us therefore remain calm and united. On behalf of H.E President John Dramani Mahama and the leadership of our great party, we stand fully with you. Remember, patience and resilience always triumph in the end,” he added.
