Big blow hits Ghana football as veteran tactician Annor Walker confirmed dead

The Ghana Football fraternity has been shocked with the death of former Black Galaxies coach Daniel Annor Walker.

Sources closed to Ghana Sports Page confirmed that the veteran tactician passed away in Accra after battling short illness. He died at age 65.

Before his passing, he served as head coach for Berekum Chelsea and Great Olympics.

Walker also worked as the assistant coach and head coach of Nania FC from 2005 to 2011, guiding them to their historical MTN FA Cup victory in 2011 over Asante Kotoko.

As reported, he was serving as Technical Advisor for Ghana Premier League side, Vision FC before the sad news.
