Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, faced a deeply embarrassing moment at the New Patriotic Party’s recent National Delegates Conference, as a group of muscular party operatives publicly shouted him down in a dramatic scene that has since gone viral as per reports from MyNewsGH.
The incident unfolded as Nana B, currently the National Organizer of the NPP, attempted to impose authority over aspects of the event’s coordination.
However, he was swiftly interrupted and dismissed by the group, believed to be aligned with an opposing faction within the party.
In one of the circulating clips, a voice in Hausa can be heard saying, “Forget him… forget him”.
Clearly unsettled, Nana B was later seen pacing and venting his frustration to allies, lamenting what he described as a growing level of disrespect towards him.
“You see the disrespect he is showing me?” he reportedly fumed, according to an aide who was present.
The confrontation comes at a time when Nana B’s standing within the party appears to be on the decline.
His absence during the Ablekuma North by-election, a key event requiring grassroots mobilization, has been cited by critics as further evidence of his diminishing influence.
Nana B now finds his future in the party uncertain.
Some party insiders have begun to openly question his leadership and relevance, with whispers of a major reshuffle ahead of the 2026 internal elections gaining momentum.
