Renowned businessman, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, has pledged his full support for the upcoming National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving scheduled for July 1, 2025.
He described the day as significant, noting its historical importance as a symbol of Ghana’s liberation from colonial rule.
Dr. Ofori Sarpong made these remarks during a courtesy call by the event’s planning committee, led by Elvis Afriyie Ankrah. The visit formed part of stakeholder engagements ahead of the national observance.
He praised President John Dramani Mahama for spearheading the initiative and disclosed plans for his company to sponsor the event.
“We have agreed to sponsor that celebration. Nothing will make us happier than to be part of this celebration, so I want to reiterate that we are with you and we will help to make 1st July an event we want it to be,” he said.
