Minority MPs march to Police Headquarters over delay in Ablekuma North election results

The Minority Members of Parliament have marched to the Police Headquarters to petition the Inspector General of Police over the delay in the declaration of Parliamentary Election Results for the Ablekuma North constituency by the Electoral Commission after the 2024 General Elections.

The Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh Dompreh addressing journalists on Wednesday June 4 at the Police Headquarters called on the police to provide protection to the EC to enable the declaration of the results.

He further noted that “The absence of a declared MP for Ablekuma North constitute a serious violation of the constitutional right to representation guaranteed under the 1992 constitution.”
