Media personality, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, has sent a strong warning to former NPP appointees who have gone silent after the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) heavy defeat in the 2024 Election.

In a video shared by NPP Projects Bureau’s X account on April 7, the host of ‘For the Records’ is heard slamming former appointees of the NPP for abandoning the country after the party lost power.

“Do not aspire for any position if you are unable to defend the party while in opposition. You were a minister, but you’ve moved to live abroad. If you don’t defend the party now, when we win power, do not come with your English and education to claim any position in the next government.

“If you go and sit somewhere and cross your legs, while others work for the party, do not aspire for any position when NPP comes to power or else we will beat you up. Do you think you are the only ones who have acquired degrees and masters’ certificates? Do not come here with your shoes and socks to demand any position, because we also have the academic qualifications you claim to have,” he fumed.

Okatakyie Afrifa assured that the NPP would wrestle power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“Whether you like it or not, we will wrestle power from the NDC. Have you seen what Mahama and the NDC government are doing?” he asked.

He also sounded a warning to whoever is elected as the next NPP leader that he should desist from filling key government positions with his girlfriends or else face his wrath.
