Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries, has urged Ghanaians to exercise patience with President-elect John Dramani Mahama as he assumes office on January 7, 2025 as reported by Ghana Web on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Speaking during a December 31 Watchnight Service, the reverend called on citizens to refrain from placing undue pressure on the new leader as he begins his tenure.
Rev. Owusu-Bempah emphasized that rebuilding a nation takes time and requires patience from its citizens. “Resetting things requires patience. Let us allow him to press the right buttons to reset the nation,” he advised.
He also highlighted Mahama’s qualities, including his humility and dedication to Ghana’s progress, as reasons for optimism.
Ghanaians are preparing for the inauguration of John Dramani Mahama, who is set to begin his second term as President.
His vision for the country, outlined in his New Year message, focuses on economic transformation, job creation, and fostering innovation.
Mahama also pledged to promote youth empowerment and implement measures to tackle corruption and overspending.
