“Gachagua is Preparing For Presidential Bid ” Sifuna Now Told As Politician Alleges Shifting Ground

Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Tony Gachoka has issued a stark warning to Edwin Sifuna regarding the political landscape leading up to the 2027 general elections.

In a statement shared on social media, Gachoka claimed that recent crowd dynamics at a joint rally demonstrated a shifting base noting that attendees were actively downing caps associated with the DCP.

He added that Kalonzo Musyoka is merely playing a supporting role to Rigathi Gachagua in this new political configuration.

The KANU candidate for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat revealed that he had previously advised the Nairobi Senator both privately and publicly to avoid attending the recent political gathering.

Gachoka characterized the event as a strategic miscalculation and questioned the tactical wisdom of the alliance.

He suggested that the rally was part of a broader maneuver by Rigathi Gachagua to prepare for a presidential bid in the upcoming election cycle, an ambition that Gachoka argues should concern other leaders.

Gachoka further warned Linda Mwanainchi to remain vigilant about these developing political maneuvers, indicating that the ground is shifting rapidly.

He framed his remarks around the necessity for strategic positioning as various leaders align for the next electoral contest.

The statement reveals growing tensions within the political spectrum as leaders position themselves ahead of the 2027 race.

The post also included a video of the crowded rally, emphasizing the scale of the turnout and the visible actions of the attendees.

These comments shows the fluid nature of Kenyan political alliances and the increasing jockeying for influence among key figures in the Mount Kenya and Western regions.
