MTN, Airtel, Glo sue Nigeria House of Reps to halt network probe, citing subscriber lawsuits against them

Nigeria’s largest telecom operators have asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to stop a House of Representatives investigation into poor network quality, and part of their case rests on lawsuits filed against them by their own subscribers.The Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON), MTN Nigeria, Airtel Networks, Globacom and Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services (EMTS), which operates 9mobile, filed the suit on November 4.
